Why is it that a toddler will try eating toilet paper more than 5 times before he finally decides he doesn't like it, yet he won't even try broccoli once?

you can try chopping it up finely and mixing it in his meals. Once he gets used to the taste you can go on to introduce him to bigger pieces. My mum used to do that to get us to eat our greens. ;)

tell him he can't have it and make a big thing about giving it to everyone except him. kids love things they can't have.
because his mommy doesn't try to coax him to eat toilet paper...
funny... ive never feared eating brocolli, and have always wondered why some peeps (especially kids) hate it...
but then again... toilet papers might look tastier.

I told my girls that broccoli were little small trees. Strangely it worked and they love it. Now they ask if we're going to have "trees" w/dinner.
