Something Infinitely More Cheery

The Son playing Peekaboo with the Grandma yesterday evening. See how he holds the pacifier in his hand, in case of emergency.

  1. Yeah, I thought I heard cheering the other day :)

Actually, will you just sit and think about all the drool and chewing of all manner of household items that you don't have to put up with. The Son chews everything. This morning, I had to remove the nozzle of my hairspray from his mouth.

Incidentally I don't know if it's normal to have to teach a child to use his teeth. The Son is still swallowing everything we put into his mouth without chewing.

  4. ya you gotta teach them to chew. gotta coach by the sidelines with sound effects and all else they'd just swallow, then puke up, then scream and look accusing at you as if you shoulda chewed for them. it's not a reflex. dunno why.

  5. Minx, you are so lucky. I would have been wearing the beef - The Son has developed a nasty habit of wiping off his food/ spit/ dirty hands on his parents.

Just the other day he left some dried blue toothpaste on my arm. Didn't notice until the end of the day. Also wiped off some porridge on the piano.

It's possible to say he chews everything except his food.
