Touched down, like, 2 hours ago and sped home to The Son and The Husband.
Missed them like CRAZY.
Dad did not pass away during the four days allotted for the trip.
But during the last four days, I managed to discover how insane my family history really is.
Nothing like a trip back to a small town to discover ALL of your roots.

I thought the whole town was a little bit nuts, from the town funeral attenders (a table full of old guys who attend all the funeral banquets for the free food) to the woman I met who had twin girls illegitimately with a married man who is allowed by his wife to support them, but not to speak to or see them.
