Oh dear

Just walked past the office next door (which is still under construction), and realised that the building managers have just ripped the contractors a new one.

There was a huge sign confirming that the contractors had been fined, and that their permit would not be renewed if they needed any extension of time.

I hope the contractors never find out which one of us wrote that one teeny little email.

  4. Yes, as a matter of fact, I am happy as we now do not have to work through horrible headaches and nausea because of the fumes from next door.

Complaints such as these are usually sent as a matter of last recourse, and after phone calls to the building management have been repeatedly ignored. You are probably not aware that we have called building management repeatedly over the past 2 months, with no response. We have also walked over and told the contractors personally to stop the noxious fumes. We have given them every opportunity. Perhaps if you spend some time in an enclosed room with an open can of thinner next to your head, you will have a better idea of what I am talking about, but I think you lack perspective.

So while I appreciate your anonymous comment on my blog, and the time you may have spent reading it, perhaps you should have thought through the situation a little more.

And in case the point was missed earlier, yes I am extremely absolutely unabashedly unrelentingly overjoyed with what I did.
